About The Book

A workshop enabling the search for individual purpose, meaning and results in the complex world of charitable giving. Based on their book of the same name (October 2009, Jossey Bass) world-renowned philanthropists Charles Bronfman and Jeffrey Solomon of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies have developed a skill-granting workshop that leads an audience through Twenty Questions to consider before changing the world. Drawing on decades of experience, the authors will offer a fresh, challenging approach to the nonprofit enterprise that, too often, is undervalued and thought of as the province of the burnt-out and the overwhelmed. Along with its many candid insights and pithy anecdotes, The Art of Giving offers practical insight on how to use a series of values, branding, and strategy tools to create an individual business plan for giving that works for you. The session is designed for two audiences in particular:
